Skillshare Review: Online Class - Learn Almost Anything, On Your Schedule

I signed up to Skillshare as a free trial.

The afternoon BEFORE my trial was supposed to end I got the email from them thanking me to Premium.

Naturally, I was perplexed. It is normal for organizations to provide free trials in hopes you enjoy the item enough to actually cover it. What isn't normal is for your enterprise to LIE for you and bill you the day before the free trial is supposed to end, in effect tricking you and then stealing your money. I was furious.

I looked on the internet and after 30 minutes of digging, I found a phone number for your company (Red flag, and what legitimate company doesn't have an easily accessible customer support number?) . I called this number and it went directly to voicemail. The voice on the voicemail appeared like a stoned college kid, complete with "ums" and "likes" (Red flag amount 2). At this point I was freaking out because all these adventures were leading me to think this actually was a scam. The only real option left to me was to compose them an email through their website. This was 3 months before, and I've yet to have a response.

I am appalled at how that they handle business (by first tricking their customers, then ignoring their concerns). They stole my cash without any warning and are currently unreachable.

I moved back on their own website and even their advertising for Premium is a lie. It clearly states that your Premium account is cancelable at any time. What they actually mean is it's possible to cancel it so it will not revive at the next billing cycle (that is an entire year!!) . They're It's Nice That Unlock your potential with creative classes from Skillshare crooks. If their content were any good, I would have happily continued using their solutions, but all their movies are things I can locate on YouTube or other places for free. The one thing I am do now is save others the hassle.

DO NOT register for your free trial. Should you do a bit more research you will find a plethora of other reviews like mine.

Go to Lynda.com or YouTube. Please, don't make the exact same mistake I did, and keep away!!

I wrote to Skillshare a last time, and it looks like in the previous 4 months they've upped their customer support match. I obtained a biased response apologizing for my prior experience and with an offer to refund me all my money. This gesture was more than I anticipated, and I am grateful to know that people do really work in this company, and it seems they are helpful site listening to the negative reviews and also seeking to make a better company. I have a sour taste in my mouth, but I feel as though once they finished up giving me my cash I should update my review and give them more than 1 star.
